Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Findrex Travels, Dr Doris (Mrs) Nwaefulu Ochei and the longest serving Principal of St Anthony’s College, Ubulu-Uku, Mr I E Akaraiwe have been listed as nominees in the prestigious Ubulu Ezemu Awards coming up on the 25th of December, 2022 at Viva Hotel, Ubulu Uku.

This is in addition to other nominees who are undergoing screening by the assessors until November 30th, 2022 when the entry will be closed for nomination.

According to the nomination submitted in rtp slot pragmatic respect to Dr Ochei, the Ubulu-Uku born philanthropist has over the years, shown exceptional commitment to the development of Ubulu Uku community.

Beyond supporting many Ubulu-Uku persons with cash donations towards educational and business developments, Dr Ochei recently, single handedly financed the drilling of 18 Solar Power boreholes in different parts of Ubulu-uku including that of Ezemu Girls Grammar School.

In addition, she was instrumental to the establishment of the Ezemu Girls Grammar School Old Students Association (EGGSOSA) an old students association of her alma mater.

Ochei who is also Founder, Director of Findrex Aviation Business School was therefore, listed in the Community Development and Philanthropy categories.

Similarly, Mr IE Akaraiwe was nominated (posthumously) in the education category for his achievements in shaping the lives of students of SACU positively during his tenure as the Principal.

Already, Ubulu Ezemu publishing platform, has announced date for the 2022 edition of the prestigious grassroot awards which is the third in the series.

Ubulu Ezemu Award celebrates and reward excellence to deserving indigenes and non indigenes who have contributed positively to the development of Ubulu Uku community.

According to a statement by the publisher of Ubulu Ezemu, Anthony Awunor, the 2022 edition is scheduled for December 25th, 2022 at Viva Hotel, Ubulu-Uku, Aniocha South LGA of Delta State.

Awunor, a multiple award-winning journalist said that, the Award Planning Committee comprising highly respected individuals in the community has drawn out all the categories in the awards, and presently compiling nominations in the various categories.

“The committee is expected to decide the nominees based on a scoring system, that will assess the genuine contributions of each nominee to the society.

Mr Awunor added that members of the committee would pay close attention to areas individuals have excelled, including groups, associations and other organisations.

He also said that, like the maiden and second edition, highpoints of the 2022 awards ceremony would be to celebrate our own people, culture and unite one another.
