Aniocha South Local Government Council Chairman, Hon (Pastor) Jude Chuwkunwike has promised a strong collaboration with Ubulu-Uku youths in order to allow holistic development, not only in his hometown, Ubulu-Uku but across communities in the local government area.

Pastor Chuwkunwike made the pledge on Monday, during a courtesy visit to the local government headquarters at Ogwashi Uku by newly elected exco members of the Ubulu Uku Youths Development Committee (UYDC).

The Chairman also applauded the youths for their demonstration of good leadership qualities especially in the areas of peace within the communities.

The visit afforded the youths an ample opportunity to deliberate on their community development, peaceful coexistence , youth development, security among others.

While congratulating the new executive, he promise to collaborate with the youths on any developmental project for his people.

High point of the event was a presentation of artwork picture of the Chairman specially made by the UYDC.

Since Chukwunwike assumed office as chairman, he has been able to carry both the youths and adults along in the scheme of things.

This approach, according to community leaders has brought peace in the Ubulu-Uku and their neighbouring communities.
