OMO AGEGE, NWAOBOSHI, OTHERS GRACE CHIEF EKWUEME, ADA JESUS MARRIAGE

Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege, Senator Peter Onyeluka Nwaoboshi, police chiefs, top class traditional rulers and chiefs were among the dignitaries that graced the marriage reception of Mr and Mrs Fruitful Mekwunye which held at Idegwu Primary School, Ubulu-Uku on Saturday.
There were also different dance groups, community associations, church leaders, politicians, security operatives amongst others.
In what can be described as one of the biggest marriage ceremony in the town in recent times, the marriage ceremony drew very important personalities from all walks of life.
Food of different kinds were served in quantum and assorted drinks were at display in different corners of the event centre amid tight security.
The large expanse of Idegwu Primary school football field could not accommodate the large fleet of exotic cars that were pulling into Ogbego quarters, venue of the show.
Consequently, vehicles were parked bumper to bumper stretching up, from Udo road to the main road.
One of the guests who spoke to Ubulu Ezemu said the crowd attracted by the marriage is expected because the couple are not just ordinary people but very unique people that always help out.
“I expected what I saw here today because Chief Ekwueme is a man of the people. His wife too has the same good character. They have helped people a lot and that is why you are seeing this crowd”, he said.
