HRM OBI OGOH OF UKWU -NZU TO CELEBRATE 48 YEARS ON THE THRONE

Arrangements are in top gear, to ensure a successful celebration of 48 years of His Royal Majesty, Obi Ogoh 1 of Ukwu-Nzu in Odiani Clan; Aniocha North LGA, Delta State.
The 3-Day event scheduled to take place from Friday 11th till Sunday 13th, March, 2022 is geared towards highlighting the achievements of the monarch and also build a state of the art palatial home for the octogenarian.
Already, a planning committee made up 10 members has been inaugurated to ensure a hitch free outing.
In addition, the committee is also mandated to raise funds from friends and well-wishers to enable the monarch mark his 48th Coronation Anniversary as well as build a befitting royal house.
Speaking on the preparedness for the important event, the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Dr. Israel Chukwuemeka Oseafiana stated that the committee is working round the clock to come out with something spectacular.
Dr. Oseafiana said “By the mercies of Almighty God, HRM Obi Ogoh 1 of Ukwu-Nzu is 84 this year and has also achieved the rear feat of 48 years on the ancestral throne of Ukwu-Nzu kingdom of Odiani Olukwumi Nation. This calls for joy and thanksgiving to God. A budget of N200,000,000 has been drawn to cover the Coronation Anniversary celebration as well as building a royal house for the Obi”.
Ukwu-Nzu (Eko-Efun) town is the historical headquarters of the Olukwumi people and is traditionally headed by the Obi of Ukwu-Nzu, Agbogidi Obi Ogoh 1.
The Olukwumi occupy seven communities west of the Niger river, and are together known today as the Odiani Clan in Aniomaland.
