‘IBORI UBULU’ BAGS AWARD AS BRIDGE BUILDER OF ANIOMA NATION
Ubulu-Uku born philanthropist and socialite, Mr. James Endurance Onwordi (a.k.a Ibori Ubulu), has bagged an Anioma Community Initiative (ACI) award as “The Bridge Builder of Anioma Nation.”
Presenting the award to him, the Director General of the initiative, Mr. Onwordi Ngozi Fortune, a Special Assistant (Community Liaison) to the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Sen Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, described Ibori Ubulu, who is the CEO of Endic Petro-Agro Nig. Ltd, as an altruistic and philanthropic minded entrepreneur, community leader and political leader.
Mr Onwordi added that the award was presented to the recipient in recognition of his invaluable contributions to the welfare and development of human resources in Anioma nation.
According to the award initiator “Mr. Onwordi through his philanthropic initiatives has continued to bridge the wide gap between the rich and the poor in Anioma nation.
“Recently, he sponsored 30 persons to acquire skills at the Delta State Technical and Vocational Education Centre, Ubulu-Uku.
“There is no better way to tackle poverty and he embodies our slogan that suggests ‘Live For Others’.
“He is clearly living for others and we are here to thank him and encourage him to continue his good works”, said the director general of the initiative.
Anioma Community Initiative is a non-governmental organisation registered as incorporated trustees by the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria, with partners all over the world.
The organisation is bent on creating sustainable welfare and education for vulnerable people within the local government areas that make up Delta North Senatorial District of Delta State.
