Often times, great efforts put up by certain individuals in the societies, no matter how well-intended are not appreciated.

Ironically, some even get witch-hunted when they go extra miles and make efforts to do remarkable things for their people.

This is the gap Ubulu Ezemu Awards is planning to close; to single out those who have done exceptionally well in different areas of human endevours,celebrate them and give them a pat at the back.

It becomes even more relevant and valuable as the awards are given by home-grown observers who understand their people very well. The concept of the UBULU EZEMU AWARDS therefore, agrees with that maxim, which teaches that “CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME”.

This year’s event will take place on 25th December, 2021 at Viva Hotel, Ubulu-Uku. So far, the organising committee members are working round the clock to peruse over 20 nominees that have been shortllsted for assessment.

At the end of the day, it is expected that the number be pruned down, while overall winners will be announced on 25th December, 2021 at the award ceremony.

Ubulu Ezemu, published by Erec Communications Limited is an online publishing platform that has helped to inform and educate Anioma people globally for almost a decade.

The Nigeria’s premier community online platform was berthed in 2011 with the aim of elevating grassroot and community reportage as well as provoking development through the use of social media.
