After 10 years of battling with spinal cord injury, Patrick Ogwu from Ubulu Uku needs N7 million for a comprehensive spinal cord surgery.

Patrick from Idumubo quarters, has earlier undergone several treatments but recently, after a proper diagnosis, the family doctor advised that he requires a life-saving surgery.

The challenge is that, he is yet to get the needed financial help to proceed the recommended treatment at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH.

Sixty (60) years old Patrick’s health is fast deteriorating as he is yet to get the required amount to follow up his treatment. His condition is further worsened by the recent death of his mother who was the only one at his hometown in Ubulu Uku, Aniocha South LGA of Delta State, to cater for him. He neither has a wife nor children.

The family, including Patrick’s brothers and sisters have toiled and soiled to get him treated, all to no avail.
