DELTA CANCELS TRANFER OF 4,500 SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS

Following a report by community online platform: UBULU EZEMU recently, the Delta State government has directed the Post Primary Education Board (PPEB) to immediately cancel the recent transfer of 4,500 secondary school teachers across the state.
According to the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Mr. Patrick Ukah, said the cancellation of the mass transfer is with immediate effect.
Ukah, in a statement made available to UBULU EZEMU on Sunday, also reiterated that schools in the state would resume on Monday January 18 for the second term academic session.
UBULU EZEMU had earlier condemned the massive transfer of teachers in the state which was said to have been affecting the only all-females secondary school: Ezemu Girls Grammar School (EGGS) in Ubulu Uku.
