Delta Culture Inclusion
Fostering an atmosphere of diversity and inclusion is core to Delta’s culture. In a new video, Ryan DiGiovanni-Hersh, Analyst – Domestic Pricing, shares that the company’s values are what make Delta so special.
“They [Delta people] respect opinions of others and show it through their actions, not just words,” he said.
Ryan also serves as vice president of the ABLE Network on Disability. ABLE is one of 11 Business Resource Groups available to Delta people. The group is committed to making Delta the best place to work for employees with disabilities by promoting inclusion, respect for differences, equal opportunity, and diversity in the workplace. ABLE provides opportunities to network, experience disability in its different forms and promote understanding through accessibility, barrier elimination, leadership and education.
ABLE members also identify recommendations to ensure Delta provides accessibility and the best service to all Delta customers worldwide.
“Recently, I had the amazing opportunity to present to over 200 In-Flight Service instructors and leaders about improving accessibility for customers,” Ryan said. “I received questions on how to best address customers and how we can improve their experience.”
Ryan said that this commitment to customers defines the Delta culture.
“Every day, we focus in on the Delta Difference. We go above and beyond for our customers.”
